Type Drawers

Type Drawers brings flat typography to life by combining coded elements with real-world interactions. Using Processing, Mad Mapper, and Arduinos, I created an interactive installation featuring a four-drawer storage cube. When users open and close the drawers, 2D type animates out of the drawers and onto the cube and the wall behind it. Each drawer contains a letter that spells "CMYK," and the animation of each letter corresponds to its designated color.
